The Trucking Network (TTN)

The Trucking Network (“TTN,” “we,” “our,” “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy, safety, and experience of all Job Seekers and Attendees (“you,” “your”) participating in TTN-hosted events, including job fairs, truck expos, conferences, and related activities (collectively, the “Event”).

By registering for or attending the Event, you agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy outlined below.

1. Information We Collect

We collect personal information necessary to register you for the Event and ensure smooth participation. This may include:

a. Contact Information

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number

b. Employment & Background Information (Voluntary)

• Résumé or work experience
• Job preferences
• Professional certifications
• Licensing status (e.g., AZ/DZ license)

c. Event Participation Information

• Registration and check-in details
• Employer interactions
• Workshop or session participation

d. Technical Information

• IP address
• Registration form data
• Device or browser information

We collect personal information directly from you or with your explicit consent only.

2. Purpose of Collecting Information

TTN collects and uses personal information for the following purposes:

• Event registration and attendance management
• Sending event-related communications, reminders, or updates
• Connecting job seekers with participating employers (only where information is voluntarily shared)
• Facilitating communication between job seekers and exhibitors
• Managing event security, logistics, and compliance
• Improving future TTN events and services
• Meeting legal and regulatory obligations

Your information will not be used for purposes beyond those stated without your consent.

3. Disclosure of Personal Information

a. Employers (With Your Consent Only)

If you voluntarily submit your résumé or personal information to an employer at the Event or through TTN’s platforms, that information will be shared directly with that employer.

TTN does not guarantee employment, interviews, job offers, wages, or hiring outcomes.

b. Event Service Providers

Limited information may be shared with trusted third parties strictly for event operations, including:

• Venue operators
• Security personnel
• Registration and ticketing platforms

These parties are contractually obligated to use your information only for Event-related purposes.

c. Legal Disclosure

Information may be disclosed if required by law, court order, or regulatory authority.

TTN does not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

4. Photography, Video & Media Consent

By attending the Event, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You may be photographed or recorded during the Event
• Images or recordings may be used by TTN for promotional, marketing, educational, or informational purposes
• No compensation will be provided

If you do not wish to appear in media content, you must notify TTN in writing prior to the Event.

5. Marketing & Communications

TTN may use your contact information to:

• Send event confirmations and reminders
• Provide important updates or logistical information
• Share future TTN event announcements

You may unsubscribe from promotional communications at any time.

Essential event-related communications may still be sent.

6. Security of Personal Information

TTN uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against:

a. Exhibitor Cancellations

• Unauthorized access
• Loss or misuse
• Alteration or disclosure

While we take appropriate measures, no system is completely secure, and absolute protection cannot be guaranteed.

7. Access, Correction & Withdrawal of Consent

In accordance with PIPEDA, you have the right to:

• Request access to your personal information
• Request corrections to inaccurate data
• Withdraw consent for non-essential uses
• Request deletion of your information when no longer required

8. Data Retention

• Personal information is retained only as long as necessary to:
• Manage your Event participation
• Share voluntarily submitted résumés or candidate information
• Meet legal, audit, or regulatory requirements

After this period, information is securely deleted or anonymized.

9. No Employment or Service Guarantees

TTN acts solely as an event organizer and networking platform. We are not responsible for:

• Employer screening or hiring practices
• Employment offers or rejections
• Wages, benefits, or working conditions
• Agreements made between job seekers and employers

Job seekers are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence before accepting any employment opportunity.

10. Code of Conduct

All attendees are expected to behave professionally and respectfully.

TTN reserves the right to remove any individual engaging in inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive behavior without refund.

11. Policy Updates

TTN may update these Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy from time to time.

Updates will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.

Continued participation in TTN events constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
